APPLICANTS
Applicants should be:
international students who are studying in a degree program, or
studying Chinese language for a long-term.
REQUIREMENTS
(1) Applicant should be of foreign nationality and hold a foreign passport;
(2) Applicant should bear friendly attitudes towards China and Chinese;
(3) Applicant should be a high school graduate and have studied in a Zhejiang university for one or more than one academic year;
(4) Applicant should respect teachers, get along well with classmates, attend classes regularly, obey university rules, and abide by laws and regulations of China;
(5) Applicant should be in good health;
(6) Applicant should study diligently and deliver outstanding performance in the class, or the new HSK is marked EXCELLENT;
(7) Applicant should not apply for other scholarships granted by Chinese governments, universities or other institutions concurrently.
SCHOLARSHIP TYPES
●Type B Scholarship:
Type B Scholarship sponsors outstanding international students who are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Zhejiang Province. It is granted at a rate of 20,000 yuan/person/year.
●Type C Scholarship:
Type C Scholarship sponsors outstanding international students who are studying in Zhejiang Province for a long term. It is granted at a rate of 6,000 yuan/person/year.
Note: Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship for International Students mainly covers: tuition fee, fees for textbooks and other learning materials, accommodation cost, and major disease and accident insurance fees.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Applicants shall apply to International School and provide the following application materials in June:
(1) Scholarship Application Form for International Students. The form shall be submitted to the school at which the applicant is studying for preliminary assessment. Written comments, signature of the person in charge, and seal of the school are required.
(2) Academic Transcript. Signature of the applicant’s class advisor and the seal of the school are required.
