Founded on January 27th,2015, the Research Institution of Taizhou Branch of Zhejiang Small and Micro finance practices thepresident responsibility system under the leadership of the council. It focuses its study on the following fields: developing small and micro financial index, summarizing and promoting successful experiences of Taizhou model for Taizhou small and micro finance, and exploring national level innovation fields for “Small and Micro Financial Reform”. It consists of an executive director of professor Wang Chengbin and 3 full-time researchers.
Over the past five years since its founding, it has attained the following achievements: it pioneered in China in developing and releasing big data-based small and micro financial index, which has been published for over 20 editions in a row since November 2015, with a total number of more than 1 million reading counts, exerting a deep impact in China; it has recorded 4 provincial-level projects centering on the development and innovation of Taizhou small and micro finance, and has published more than 10 papers in academic journals including CSSCI; its reports on decision-making suggestions have obtained written comments by key leaders of Taizhou municipal government.
