Established in November 2009, the Research Institution of Taizhou Economic Development is engaged in the research on such fields as private economy innovation, digitalization reform, manufacturing and industrial cluster planning, and export-oriented economy development. It boasts 8 members at present, including the president, and a guest professor of TU and Taizhou Vocational & Technological College(TVTC) Zheng Jianping, the director of Taizhou Merchant Association and the deputy director ofZhejiang branch of Yangtze River Delta Private Economy Association, the executive director and associate professor of TU Dong Zhiyong, and the vice president and associate professor of TU Wang Yiping.
Recently, the institution has undertaken the following researches: the 14thfive-year plan for Taizhou social development, the 14thfive-year plan on Taizhou basic public services, the 14thfive-year plan on improving public service in Huangyan district, the development planning of Jiaojiang scientific innovation valley, research on Taizhou manufacturing digitalization transformation, and F2C customized production and integrated development. It also held the sub-forum of the third academic annual conference of Taizhousocialscience circle, and have delivered keynote speeches and conducted investigations upon invitations, which have been well received by the society.
