The selection results of the first "College Psycho-educational Teachers of the Year" in Zhejiang Province were released recently. Ms. Jin Caiyun, director of the mental health education and consultation center of Taizhou University, was nominated as the College Psycho-educational Teacher of the Year.

The "College Psycho-educational Teachers of the Year" selection activity is guided by the Department of Education of Zhejiang Province and sponsored by the Higher Education Academy of Zhejiang Province. In this selection, a total of 10 teachers have been selected as Psycho-educational Teachers of the Year and 10 other teachers have been nominated as Psycho-educational Teachers of the Year.

A master of clinical medicine, associate professor, licensed mental health physician, national second-class psychological consultant and structured family therapist, Jin Caiyun has been engaged in mental health education and counseling for 12 consecutive years. With a case length of more than 3000 hours, Ms Jin has successfully intervened in more than 120 students’ crisis and finished over 6000 class hours of teaching, over 200 hours of psychological public welfare services, and over 50 social public welfare psychological lectures.

To carefully guard the healthy growth of every student, Ms Jin Caiyun has dedicated herself to alleviating students’ worries and teaching students ways of psychological self-help and has made great contribution to campus safety and social service. Like the catcher in the rye, she has illuminated the way for the growth of students. She has exemplified the responsibility and supportiveness of psychological workers through her hard work and expertise.
