TU Ranking 33rd in the Students' Competition Ranking of Newly-built Universities

On February 22, China Association of Higher Education officially released the analysis report of the 2021 national college students' competition. Taizhou University made a historic breakthrough in the five-year rolling list from 2017 to 2021, and was listed in the National College Students' Competition Ranking for the first time, ranking 33rd in the National College Students' Competition Ranking of newly-built universities and 164th in the national ranking of 2021 discipline competition, an increase of 80 places over 2020.

This year, Taizhou University ranked 33rd with 272 awards and 53.16 total scores in the 2017-2021 national undergraduate competition of newly-built colleges, 48 places higher than the previous round of rolling list. It also ranked 298th in the 2017-2021 National College Students Competition Ranking and entered the top 300 for the first time.

In recent years, Taizhou University attaches great importance to discipline competition and gives full play to the important role of discipline competition in talent training. In 2021, tens of thousands of TU students participated in various competitions at all levels and won numerous awards, including 111 national awards (16 first prizes, 33 second prizes and 62 third prizes) and 694 provincial awards (251 Class A awards, 44 first prizes, 69 second prizes and 138 third prizes). Compared with 2020, there are 12 more national first prizes and 29 more provincial Class A and first prizes.
