On March 13, Liu Jiaming, a researcher of the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, chief professor and doctoral supervisor of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, was invited to TU for exchange and gave a lecture entitled "Standards help the high-quality development of tourist resorts". Also invited was Liu Aili, an associate professor and master supervisor of Capital Normal University and an expert of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, who gave a lecture on "Looking for soundmarks of a city: City, soundscape and locality". Professor Cui Fengjun, Secretary of the CPC Taizhou University Committee, moderated the lectures which were attended by the leaders of School of Business and teachers and students in tourism management.
Professor Liu Jiaming introduced the significance and principles of National Standards for Tourism Resorts, analyzed the supply and demand and brand building of resorts, tourism resorts as well as resort resources and environment, and explained how to improve resort products. Associate Professor Liu Aili introduced soundscape construction from the perspective of human geography, and took Beijing as a case to illustrate the tourism experience based on soundscape perspective and the effect of the improvement and optimization of soundscape on tourism.
During the Q & A session, the two experts answered the questions raised by the audience one by one, carried out in-depth exchanges, and the on-site atmosphere was lively. In the end, Professor Cui Fengjun encouraged the students present to study hard, forge ahead and strive to continue their academic study.
