On the morning of April 2, the Third Political Microlecture Competition of Taizhou University was held in the Multi-function Hall of Guangwen College on Linhai campus. Pan Ying, deputy head of the Organization Department, Pan Yao, Secretary of the CYL Committee, and Jin Niya, a teacher from School of Humanities, were invited as judges.
With the theme of welcoming the 20th CPC National Congress, this competition is aimed at developing guiding and vivid political microlectures by telling stories of heroes, models and youth. Since its launch, the competition has drawn extensive attention from from teachers and students. and more than 30 works have been submitted. After online review, 8 student works and 4 teachers’ works from 6 schools were shortlisted for the finals. Focusing on the three themes of red classics, development achievements and youth dedication, the contestants inspired the students to think about patriotism and aspiration, youth and dreams, learning and striving by telling their own experiences, role models and outstanding figures in the history.
To follow up, the CYL Committee will meticulously polish the microlectures, and select excellent ones to participate in the provincial competition. It is believed that this competition can inspire and guide the Youth League members to deepen their understanding of dedication, responsibility and belief so as to greet the 20th CPC National Congress with high spirits.
