On the evening of April 27, Taizhou University carried out a special movie viewing activity of "looking at the workplace in light and shadow, thinking about the future", focusing on workplace culture and problems from the perspective of movie art. The activity was launched online and attracted 48 students to participate.
In this activity, the audience watched clips of several movies recommended by students such as The Pursuit of Happyness, Go LA LA Go!, and The Devil Wears Prada. The hero's behavior and love for life in the workplace in The Pursuit of Happyness motivate students to move forward and become firm and brave; Go LA LA Go! is full of passionate and persistent career pursuit and describes the way of life with vivid examples, which is not only applicable to the workplace, but also beneficial to life; The Devil Wears Prada demonstrates the "law of the jungle" in the workplace and the original intention on the road of dreams, which provoke students' thoughts. The workplace life in other movies such as Legally Blonde and The Intern also left a deep impression on the audience.
This movie viewing activity lasted more than an hour. The students watched with great interest to experience the workplace culture and aspiration. After the activity, some gifts were offered to the students participating in this activity, which greatly stimulated their enthusiasm.
This activity, organized by the Employment Service Center and the Counselors’ Studio of the University, is one of a series of activities of the Counselors’ Studio to facilitate the growth of students.
