Another training camp of cooperation between Weixing New Building Materials and TU opened

On the afternoon of April 23, Taizhou University and Weixing New Building Materials Co. Ltd. jointly opened the second "Star Maker" training camp. The opening ceremony was held online in Jiaojiang, Linhai campuses and Weixing New Building Materials. Ma Bin, deputy head of Students Affairs Department, and Song Yingying, assistant general manager of Linhai Industrial Park of Weixing New Building Materials, delivered speeches. 24 students from the second "Star Maker" training camp attended the opening ceremony.

Ma Bin hoped that the students can know themselves well, plan their career development goals reasonably, and constantly enhance their employment competitiveness with active practice. Song Yingying, after reviewing the activities of the first "Star Maker" training camp, expressed her hope that the students would clarify their career plans and goals and make great efforts to accumulate, not only harboring great ideals but also working in a down-to-earth way.

14 senior managers from Weixing New Building Materials were selected to mentor the students in the training camp. Wang Jun, assistant general manager of gas engineering division of Weixing New Building Materials, spoke on behalf of the mentors that these students reminded them of their beautiful youth and all mentors will teach by example and answer students’ questions with patience. He also extended his thanks to the leaders of Taizhou University and Weixing New Building Materials for jointly building such a mutually beneficial platform. Hu Gonghao from the School of Foreign Languages spoke on behalf of the students to thank TU and Weixing for their efforts. He also encouraged the students to cherish this learning opportunity by communicating actively, observing attentively and thinking diligently. Zou Jinghao, a graduate of Taizhou University and the deputy manager of gas manufacturing department of Weixing New Building Materials, delivered a speech. He suggested that students should have dreams, analyze their own strengths and weaknesses, and actively practice on the way to their goals step by step.

Scholarships were awarded to the excellent students in the first training camp at the opening ceremony which was followed with a lecture on employment guidance.
