In order to celebrate May Day and lighten the campus on weekend with community culture to relieve students’ pressure, on the day of May Day, the CYL Committee held the closing ceremony of the Culture Square on Weekend and the garden party on the Disc Square of Linhai Campus.

The main line of the activity is to review the successful road of the Olympic bid. Students were divided into teams to simulate the procedure of "Olympic bid" in which they brainstormed and debated. Together with this were wonderful performance and activities organized by the Debate Association, GC Drama Club, TY Hip-hop Club, the Foreign Language Club, the Young Pioneers Research Association, the Hope & Love Society, the Turing Computer Association, the Childlike Innocence Creative Society, Deer Road Literature Society, Wenyuan Sinology Society, the Calligraphy Association, E-Road Drama Club, Feng Ya Recitation Club, E-Commerce Association and the Marxist Society. While punching along the the Olympic bidding road, painting circular fans and masks organized by the Publicity Department of the CYL Committee was also carried out in full swing.

The atmosphere at the event site was lively, orderly and full of laughter. The activity not only shows the students' good cultural quality, but also allows the students to deeply understand the Winter Olympic spirit, perceive the traditional culture, appreciate the beauty of labor and accumulate learning momentum in these popular activities.
