On the morning of May 27, the promotion meeting for the preparation of School of International Nursing of Taizhou University was held in Linhai. Cui Fengjun, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Taizhou University, presided over the meeting and made a speech. Also in attendance were Wu Huading, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Linhai, Zhang Weiqing, director of the Standing Committee of Linhai People's Congress, Jiang Feng, executive vice mayor of Linhai municipal government, and Chen Haixiao, director of the Medical Department of Taizhou University.

Li Zhongfei, Secretary of the CPC Committee of the Medical School of Taizhou University, introduced the plan and progress of the preparation of the School of International Nursing. The attendees discussed on the preparation and made many constructive suggestions.

Wu Huading put forward specific requirements on the preparation for the establishment of the School of International Nursing to ensure the construction of the infrastructure projects will be initiated before the end of this year.

Cui Fengjun stressed that the establishment of School of International Nursing, a project of cooperation between Taizhou University and Linhai municipal government, is an important means of building a "Happy Linhai" and coping with the acceleration of population ageing and the shortage of nursing talents.

Located close to Linhai Campus of Taizhou University and with an area of around 60000 square meters, the School of International Nursing is jointly built by Taizhou University and Linhai municipal government. It will undertake the training of multi-level health care and nursing professionals with its educational philosophy and curriculum in line with international standards.
