The final of the 17th Taizhou University Singing Competition, sponsored by the CYL Committee, was staged on Jiaojiang Campus and Linhai Campus on the evening of May 13 and May 19, respectively. Lin Junhui, vice secretary of the CPC Committee of the School of Art and Design, together with Zhou Yu, Ding Jingling and Zhao Ziyuan were invited to serve as judges.

After the preliminaries and semi-finals, 21 contestants from Jiaojiang Campus and 12 contestants from Linhai Campus advanced to the final. The final on Jiaojiang Campus was divided into two groups: the national and Bel canto group and the popular group. In the end, Shen Chen of the School of Art and Design won the champion of the national and Bel canto group and Ma Shengqi won the champion of the popular group. In the final on Linhai Campus, Feng Luting from the School of Foreign Languages won the first prize.

As an important activity of TU's Festival of Science, Technology, Art and Culture, Taizhou University Singing Competition provides a stage for young students to show their talent and spiritual civilization, and creates a positive, healthy and civilized campus cultural atmosphere.
