TU made another achievement at the 2022 Zhejiang University Wushu Championship

On the evening of May 26, the 2022 Zhejiang University Wushu Championship (cloud competition) kicked off. A total of 416 athletes from 47 teams of 38 universities in the province participated in the competition. After three days of intense competition, it was successfully concluded on May 29.

Coached by Fan Kun, Qin Yude, Chen Qin and Zhang Bo, our team participated in the competition of Group A and Group C, and made another success in this competition with good performance.

In Group A (Public Sports Group), our team won the fourth place in the men's team. Liu Wanting of group A won the second place in women's south sword and the fifth place in southern style boxing; Zhou Junlai won the second place in the south stick and the sixth place in the southern style boxing; Ren Zhengquan won the third place in men's south sword and southern style boxing; Wu Qingying won the seventh place in women's Tai Chi Chuan; He Xin won the seventh place in men's cudgel. In Group C (Professional Sports Group), Zhang Xingang won the sixth place in Tai Chi Chuan; Xue Fan and Ye Yaohui won the title of excellent athlete; and Zhang Bo won the title of excellent coach.

Meeting friends with martial arts, all the TU athletes have demonstrated their superb competitive skills, self-improvement spirit and their sense of responsibility and mission to inherit Chinese culture. The martial arts team of Taizhou University will continue to forge ahead and fight bravely to achieve better results in future competitions.
