On June 17, the Convocation for Class of 2022 at Taizhou University was held. School leaders Cui Fengjun, Wang Zheng, Li Weiming, Yang Jianguo and Jin Song attended the ceremony and sat on the rostrum. The ceremony was presided over by Jin Xianlong, deputy director of Bachelor's Degree Evaluation Committee and Vice Secretary of the CPC Committee of Taizhou University.

The Convocation was held in the Great Hall of Jiaojiang campus, and was broadcast live online. The ceremony officially kicked off with the solemn national anthem.

Cui Fengjun, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Taizhou University, delivered a speech titled “Continuing youth and striving again: achieving a better life following the pulse of the times". On behalf of the university, he extended the most sincere congratulations and best wishes to 4101 graduates of Class of 2022, and expressed the highest respect and heartfelt gratitude to all teaching staff, parents and friends who have devoted their love, support and efforts to the students' growth and success.

"Youth is the wonderful chapter of life, and striving is the bottom color of the song of youth. Thank you for becoming a member of Taizhou University, and sharing the same breath and destiny with the development of your alma mater," Cui Fengjun said. “It is precisely because of the participation of the students that Taizhou University has achieved rapid development in the past four years. You are not only beneficiaries of reform and development, but also well-deserved witnesses and participants with great efforts.”

In his speech, Cui Fengjun sent a message of hope to the graduates, hoping that they are able to form a habit of learning for life, to cherish the valuable opportunity of employment, to take their road carefully, to make progress everyday, and to seek for opportunities in actions.

At the Convocation, Cui Fengjun turned the tassel for the graduate representatives and sent them the graduation gifts. Wang Zheng, member of the CPC Committee and Vice President of Taizhou University, read out the decision of granting the bachelor’s degree as well as other documents. Other TU leaders gave awards to the representatives of the Excellent College Graduates of Zhejiang Province, and issued the letter of appointment to the representatives of the alumni ambassadors.

Chen Weina, Shen Shijie and Wang Han delivered a speech successively as a representative of Class of 2022, teachers and alumni respectively, sharing their experience and extending their best wishes.
