On July 2, the final of the 14th Zhejiang College Students' Life Science Competition came to an end at the Cangqian Campus of Hangzhou Normal University. TU students won a record number of awards, including 2 first prizes, 8 second prizes and 17 third prizes, and 3 teams were shortlisted for the National College Students' Life Science Competition.
This competition attracted 1046 projects from 40 colleges and universities in our province. 87 teams of TU participated in this event. After online review, a total of 6 teams were shortlisted for the finals. In the final defense, our students displayed their good teamwork ability and innovative thinking, with which they were able to make great success in the competition.
As a Class A discipline competition held by the Department of Education of Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang College Students' Life Science Competition is one of the most influential first-class discipline competitions in the province owing to its rich content, in-depth participation of students and high recognition of the industry. The School of Life Science insists on promoting teaching and learning through competition to continuously improve the training quality and comprehensive quality of undergraduates. Since the start of the competition in July last year, the School of Life Science has widely mobilized teachers and students to participate in the competition, carefully organized the preliminary competitions and actively created a good environment and conditions for the finals. After the provincial competition, three TU teams will spare no effort to prepare for the national finals and strive to achieve excellent results.
