On July 22, Li Junmin, member of the CPC Committee and Vice President of Taizhou University, led a team to Taizhou Human Resources and Social Security Bureau to discuss the establishment of Taizhou Engineering Institute. Ke Wanying, director of Taizhou Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, met the team and presided over the meeting.

At the meeting, Li Junmin introduced the preparatory work made by TU for the establishment of Taizhou Engineering Institute. She pointed out that the establishment of Taizhou Engineering Institute will help Taizhou University cultivate outstanding engineering talents capable of adapting to and leading the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, improve the ability of training engineering talents and the quality of training applied talents, and create a "Taizhou cradle" for engineer training. Ke Wanying expressed her gratitude for the full and meticulous preparations made by TU to promote the construction of Taizhou Engineering Institute. She said that the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau would fully support and coordinate the construction of Taizhou Engineering Institute. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on the teaching and training base, teachers and funds of Taizhou Engineering Institute. The two sides agreed to actively promote the preparation for the establishment of Taizhou Engineering Institute in the next stage.
