On August 8th, Taizhou University and the municipal government of Linhai signed a cooperation agreement on the construction of International Nursing College of Taizhou University. Cui Fengjun, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Taizhou University, Chen Haixiao, former vice chairman of Taizhou Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, former director of Taizhou Enze Medical Center (Group) and head of the Medical Department of Taizhou University, Hu Shaoguang and Li Junmin, members of the CPC Committee and vice presidents of Taizhou University, and leaders of Linhai City, including Wu Huading, Cai Jianjun, Zhang Zhaojin, Chen Rongshi, Jiang Feng and Lin Min, attended the signing ceremony.
This January, TU established a comprehensive and close strategic cooperation relationship with Linhai to promote the cooperation of nine major projects, one of which is the International Nursing College. Located on the east side of the Linhai Campus of TU, the International Nursing College is committed to cultivating multi-level nursing professionals and creating a first-class educational institution with distinctive international characteristics. Its construction is slated to start in January next year.
Cui Fengjun stressed in his speech that Taizhou University originates from Linhai, and will also take root in Linhai to empower its growth. The jointly-built International Nursing College will certainly become a new growth point of TU to strengthen personnel training and deepen local service. He hoped that the two sides could further deepen the cooperation agreement, align the established objectives and tasks and work together to build the International Nursing College into an educational entity that carries out all-round and in-depth joint training with foreign universities. All relevant departments of Taizhou University and the School of Medicine should establish a strong sense of "ownership", further elaborate their responsibilities, and show the spirit of responsibility in the implementation work. It is necessary to further strengthen communication and coordination with Linhai CPC Committee, municipal government and relevant departments, deepen resource sharing, complement each other's advantages, pool efforts to promote infrastructure construction, and jointly open a new chapter of Linhai, a city with a thousand years of history, and the 100-year-old Taizhou University.

The establishment of the International Nursing College is not only a solid step of Taizhou University to upgrade and create a first-class university but also a leap forward of Linhai to launch the health care brand, which will certainly bring about reform and reconstruction for Linhai to optimize the health industry and gather innovative resources. He said that the Linhai CPC Committee and government will implement the cooperation agreement with the best environment and the best service, guarantee the project construction with high standards, fully support the development of Taizhou University in Linhai, and comprehensively create a favorable environment of innovation and entrepreneurship. He hoped that Taizhou University would give full play to its talent advantages, materialize more educational achievements in Linhai, and attract more talents to the ancient city to achieve great development and create the future.
