On August 27, Zhang Yunlong, an alumnus of Class 1984, once again donated to Taizhou University his new book “Tasting Huangyan”. Published by Shanghai Literature and Art Publishing House in March this year, "Tasting Huangyan" depicts Huangyan's rivers, ancient villages, streets, famous mountains and temples, celebrities and famed fruits in a prose style.

Zhang Yunlong, who studied political history in the Class 1984, is now the chairman of Taizhou Educational Writers Association, the vice chairman of Taizhou Educational Literature Federation, and the editor in chief of Taizhou Educational Literature and Art. Mr Zhang has published articles with more than 3 million words and six books, and edited 19 books. He has also won the first Excellent Theoretical Achievement Award of Taizhou Municipal Government.

Mr Zhang Yunlong has long been concerned about and supportive of the development of his alma mater, and has donated his personal works and collections to Taizhou University many times, totaling more than 220 books.
