On September 3, Taizhou University saw the arrival of 4627 freshmen from 22 provinces and autonomous regions of China. School leaders Cui Fengjun, Le Chuanyong, Jin Xianlong, Wang Zheng, Li Junmin, Zhang Hui and Jin Song, accompanied by relevant departments, visited the orientation points on Jiaojiang Campus and Linhai Campus, exchanged cordially with the freshmen and their parents, extended a warm welcome to them, and expressed their thanks to the staff and volunteers on the site.
At present, the situation of epidemic prevention and control is still grim. TU has set up three nucleic acid testing points near campus to provide testing services for students and parents. The volunteers and staff were very warm, considerate and patient, providing timely services and help for freshmen.
"The volunteers are very careful and enthusiastic, helping us carry luggage, which really saves a lot of trouble. Although I am not familiar with the school environment when I first entered the campus, I feel warm inside with the guidance and help of volunteers," said a freshman.
In order to welcome the arrival of these freshmen, the 14 schools have endeavored to display their uniqueness, and organized some activities to alleviate the fatigue and tension of freshmen coming from afar.
