Recently, as the renovation of the exterior walls of the teaching buildings on Linhai Campus is drawing to an end, the renovation and upgrading project of Linhai Campus has been basically completed. Since Linhai Campus has been built for more than 20 years, the infrastructure and equipment on campus have been old and aging, which has affected teaching and the lives of teachers and students to a great extent. Since July 2020, the University has fully launched the renovation and upgrading project of Linhai campus. After nearly three years of joint efforts, the campus infrastructure and school-running conditions have taken on a new look, and the overall environment of the campus has been markedly improved, which has been highly affirmed by teachers and students.
The CPC Committee of Taizhou University attaches great importance to the maintenance and renovation of the Linhai campus, conducts thorough research and elaborate planning, and actively strives for a special fund of more than 67 million yuan from Taizhou Municipal Government for the renovation and upgrading of the Linhai campus. There are more than 40 projects in total, including the renovation of student apartments, teaching buildings, canteens, halls, sports facilities, libraries, and Guangwen College. During the transformation, the school leaders visited the site and hold special meetings many times, which actively promoted the project construction progress and ensured the project construction progress and project quality.
The transformation work has received solid support from various departments. The Bidding Center has maintained its close contact with municipal departments to accelerate the approval of project bidding. The Logistics Department strives to overcome various difficulties, fixates on the progress of designing, budgeting, and constructing, and strictly supervises and manages the construction links such as construction materials, construction technology, safety and civilization, so as to ensure the completion of the reconstruction and upgrading of the Linhai campus with high quality.
