On September 8, the list of 2022 funding projects was released by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.  A total of 28 TU projects were on the list, including 8 General projects and 20 Youth Science Foundation projects. With the direct funding of 10.32 million yuan, TU has made new breakthroughs in both the number of projects approved and the amount of funding, ranking the forefront of similar universities in the province.

The National Natural Science Foundation is an important indicator to measure the scientific research level of a university. In recent years, Taizhou University has adhered to the scientific research development strategy and attached great importance to the application and management of national funded projects. By optimizing the organization mode and innovating the management mode, the potential and vitality of scientific researchers to carry out basic research have been greatly stimulated, and the development of basic scientific research and original innovation of TU has been strongly promoted. During the application process, the management department has made great efforts in mobilization, guidance, form review and other aspects. Through the joint efforts of the whole university, all applications have been subjected to multiple rounds of examination.

The results of National Natural Science Foundation project approval this year will play a positive role in promoting the development of science and technology in our university, strengthening discipline construction and improving personnel training.
