On September 14th and 15th, the opening ceremony for Class of 2022 students was held on Jiaojiang Campus and Linhai Campus respectively, and more than 4600 new students officially become students of Taizhou University. School leaders Cui Fengjun, Le Chuanyong, Jin Xianlong, Zhao Xiaoming, Wang Zheng, Hu Shaoguang, Li Junmin, Li Weiming, Yang Jianguo and Jin Song attended the ceremony.
An the ceremony, the school leaders wore the school logo for the freshmen representatives, and other freshmen solemnly wore a bright "Taizhou University" logo for themselves. Teacher representatives shared their experience in study and work, encouraging freshmen to stick to their ideals and beliefs and write the chapter of the times with their youth. The representatives of the senior students also expressed their sincere welcome to the freshmen, hoping that they will cherish their time at TU, pursue their dreams and live up to their youth with upward efforts. Freshmen representatives expressed that they would keep in mind the spirit of the school motto, live up to their teachers' instructions, study hard and make progress actively, and grow into a better person in Taizhou University.
At the end of the ceremony, Cui Fengjun, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Taizhou University, taught the "first lesson" to all the freshmen. With the theme of "striving to pursue the dream of youth", he said that "Taizhou is a city that dares to run", "Taizhou University is also a university that dares to run", and "TU students should become the youth of the age who are good at running". He sent a message to the freshmen to stimulate the vitality of youth with the ideal of youth and strive to pursue the dream of youth.
