On September 16, the inauguration ceremony of the Affiliated School of Taizhou University was held. Cui Fengjun, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Taizhou University, and Xie Huan, Vice Secretary of the CPC Committee and Secretary of Politics and Law Committee of the CPC of Jiaojiang District of Taizhou City, presented the board engraved with “Affiliated School of Taizhou University” to Lin Jiuxing, headmaster of the Affiliated School, and Chen Yuqing, Secretary of the CPC Branch.
Le Chuanyong, Vice Secretary of the CPC Committee and President of Taizhou University, Huang Renchuan, Secretary of the CPC Group and Director of Taizhou Municipal Education Bureau, Sun Tianbo, Deputy Head of Jiaojiang District, and Lin Jiuxing, headmaster of the Affiliated School, attended and delivered speeches. The ceremony was presided over by Li Junmin, member of the CPC Committee and vice president of Taizhou University.
On behalf of Taizhou University, Le Chuanyong extended warm congratulations on the establishment of the Affiliated School. He said that Taizhou University started with normal education and was known as Taizhou's cradle of teachers. This year, the University signed a contract with Jiaojiang District to jointly build an affiliated school of Taizhou University. In just a few months, the University and the local government have been fighting against the clock, uniting their efforts to overcome difficulties, and made a series of gratifying achievements. In terms of building a strong and good affiliated school, Le Chuanyong said that the good tradition of normal education should be carried forward, the golden signboard be polished, and efforts should be strengthened to introduce and cultivate talents and comprehensively improve the quality of teaching. He believed that with the joint efforts of both the University and the local government, the school affiliated to Taizhou University would surely become the "new growth point" for improving the quality of basic education in the city and become the "first array" of exemplary and experimental characteristic schools.
Huang Renchuan, on behalf of Taizhou Municipal Education Bureau, congratulated the Affiliated School on its establishment. He hoped that the school will take on the mission of of becoming a model school for improving education quality, teachers will be loyal to the education cause all the time, uphold confidence, patience and love, polish the bright background of morality and cultivate people, and strive to earn the satisfaction of the public. He also hoped that the students will have a great ambition to become talents, vigorously carry forward Dachen spirit of reclaiming wasteland, be virtuous and persevering, study hard and practice hard, develop morally, intellectually, physically and aesthetically, and strive to become the backbone in the construction of the country and hometown.
In his speech, Sun Tianbo said that Jiaojiang District will fully implement the agreement on cooperative education and provide strong support in terms of policies, funds, teachers, etc. to provide a solid guarantee for building a famous school and brand. He hoped that Taizhou University will continue to support Jiaojiang's education development in terms of teacher training, curriculum construction, teaching reform, teaching research, etc, and the affiliated schools will seize the opportunity of development, take it as their responsibility to run education to the satisfaction of the people, and effectively improve the quality of education and teaching.
Lin Jiuxing, the headmaster of the Affiliated School of Taizhou University, said that the school will strive to create a first-class school in the region, lay a solid foundation for children's physical and mental health, continuous learning ability, and social participation ability, and make the school well-known and appealing to Taizhou people.
It is reported that the Affiliated School of Taizhou University is a public nine-year consistent school jointly built by Taizhou University and Jiaojiang District People's Government. The campus boasts of a beautiful environment and an area of 55300 square meters, with a scale of 42 classes, including 4 classes for each grade of primary school and 6 classes for each grade of junior high school. The first batch of students started school on September 3 this year.
