In the morning of September 17, Future Rural College of Taizhou University was inaugurated in Youxi Town, Linhai City. Cui Fengjun, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Taizhou University, Wu Huading, Secretary of Linhai Municipal Committee, Chen Jianbo, Member of the Standing Committee of Linhai Municipal Committee and Head of the Organization Department, Song Jiangyong, Member of the Standing Committee of Linhai Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor, and Chen Xiandong, Member of the CPC Group and Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Linhai Municipal People's Congress, attended the ceremony. Zhao Xiaoming, member of the CPC Committee and Vice President of Taizhou University, presided over the ceremony.
Cui Fengjun said in his speech that Linhai CPC Committee and the People's Government have always attached great importance to the development of Taizhou University, and has injected inexhaustible momentum into the school's development. The Future Rural College of Taizhou University is a key project for the cooperation between the University and Linhai. The joint construction of future rural colleges is just in time for the construction of common prosperity. He expressed several requirements to the Future Rural College. First, it should pay attention to the policy interpretation and become “a new leading force” in the promotion of common prosperity. Second, it should do a good job in talent introduction and education, and act as a "new bridge" for rural prosperity. Third, it should focus on the implementation of projects and become a "new power" for rural prosperity.
Wu Huading said in his speech that the establishment of the Future Rural College is not only an innovative measure to deepen the cooperation between the University and the city, but also a specific practice to promote rural revitalization. He believed that the college could create its own characteristics and brand, build a theoretical research highland, a practical cooperation position and a talent training base for rural common prosperity, and create a large number of new farmers with good understanding of agriculture and good management for the coastal cultivation.
The School of Art and Design and Youxi Town signed projects such as the joint construction of a beautiful rural practice base, the construction of a party building community, and the overall design of IP packaging for agricultural special products in Youxi Town.
Lectures were also delivered by Sun Shouqian, a member of the design discipline evaluation group of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, director of the Institute of Modern Industrial Design of Zhejiang University, professor and doctoral advisor, director of the Design Art Research Center of Tongji University, professor and doctoral advisor Lin Jiayang, contemporary artist Wang Lyuzhang, a famous home stay designer.
