On the evening of September 17, Chinese Classics Recitation, an activity of the 25th National Putonghua Promotion Week, was held in the auditorium of Linhai Campus of Taizhou University. This recitation was hosted by the Academic Affairs Department of Taizhou University, undertaken by the School of Humanities of Taizhou University, and co-sponsored by Jin Niya Studio, Linhai Speech and Recitation Association, Qin Yude Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance Master Studio, and Feng Ya Recitation Club. Wang Zheng and Li Junmin, members of the CPC Committee and vice presidents of Taizhou University, and Jin Song, member of the CPC Committee and head of the Publicity Department of Taizhou University, attended the event.
At the beginning of the activity, Professor Li Junmin delivered a speech. She said that TU has always attached great importance to the work of language and writing. The series of activities of promoting Putonghua have not only improved our students' comprehensive language literacy, but also played the basic functions of universities in serving the society, serving the local community and spreading culture. In addition, Professor Li Junmin mentioned that Jin Niya Studio has combined students' learning with extracurricular activities, and integrated Putonghua promoting activities into club activities, which has had a good social impact. In this year's Zhejiang University Students' Chinese Classics Reading Contest, our students have achieved good results.
In this recitation activity, in addition to reciting famous poems, the martial arts team and the lion dance team of Taizhou University also presented wonderful performance for the audience.
As an activity to welcome the 20th CPC National Congress, this recitation is not only conducive to promoting Putonghua but also conducive to strengthening national identity and cultural identity.
