In order to improve the employability of students, recently, the Employment Service Center of Taizhou University, in conjunction with Rennengda Education, has opened a course of six lessons to improve students’ employability, which attracted more than 5000 attendees.
There are six topics in this course, namely, goal identification, job analysis, human capital confidence, job self-efficacy, interview resume, and employment opportunities excavation. In the course, students try to count their personal achievements, establish a competency model for the target position, and formulate competitive personal promotion strategies based on the competency model. The course also teaches how to obtain employment information channels and build an employment information framework. At the same time, it guides students to use the pyramid principle and STAR principle to create their resumes, help them understand the interview process of the enterprise, and enhance students' confidence in the job search results and sense of control over the job search process.
Many real cases have been used in the course, and the students participated actively and raised many questions. This course was highly praised by the students.
