According to this list, 7 teachers of Taizhou University, including Su Chunyi, Wu Jie, Wang Lei, Wang Jiacheng, Zhang Shiqing, Hu Jinfeng, and Huang Xiaohua, were selected into the "World's Top 2% Scientists Lifelong Scientific Influence List". 15 TU teachers, including Su Chunyi, Wu Jie, Wang Jiacheng, Wang Lei, Chen Wei, Zhong Wenwu, Ye Shengqing, Huang Guobo, Zhu Huayue, Zhao Kai, Zhang Shiqing, Lin Xianzheng, Ma Da, Hu Jinfeng and Han Deman, were selected into the "the World's Top 2% Top Scientists' Annual Scientific Influence", and the total number of selected teachers ranked first among similar universities in Zhejiang Province.

The list of the world's top 2% scientists, released by Stanford University in conjunction with Elsevier, includes the world's top 2% scientists from 22 disciplines and 176 sub-disciplines. Among them, the "World's Top 2% Scientists Lifelong Scientific Influence List" reflects the comprehensive influence performance of scientists during their career, "The World's Top 2% Top Scientists' Annual Scientific Influence" reflects the academic influence of scientists in the last year and provides scientific indicators for the scientific research performance of scientists around the world.
