Recently, the selection results of 2021 "China Telecom Scholarship" were officially announced. Two TU students, Gao Siyi from School of Humanities, and Zheng Yi from School of Electronics and Information Engineering, were awarded the "China Telecom Scholarship·Flying Young Award".

The 2021 "China Telecom Scholarship" selection is jointly organized by China Telecom Group and China Guanghua Science and Technology Foundation under the guidance of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the All China Federation of Students. It is divided into "China Telecom Scholarship·Tianyi Award" and "China Telecom Scholarship·Flying Young Award". The purpose is to select and promote a group of outstanding college students to lead contemporary college students to set lofty ideals, love the motherland and shoulder the responsibility of the times. After recommendation at the school level, prefecture level and city level, preliminary evaluation at the provincial level and national review, 98 students were granted "China Telecom Scholarship·Tianyi Award" and 1486 students were granted "China Telecom Scholarship·Flying Young Award" .
