Recently, 67 courses of Taizhou University were recognized by Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education as provincial first class courses, including 19 online first-class undergraduate courses, 10 offline first-class undergraduate courses, 25 online and offline hybrid first-class undergraduate courses, 8 social practice first-class undergraduate courses, 2 first-class undergraduate internationalization courses, and 3 labor education first-class undergraduate courses.

The construction of first-class courses is the basis for Taizhou University to implement high-level undergraduate education and first-class specialty construction. In recent years, TU has formulated a first-class curriculum construction scheme and index system, accelerated curriculum reform and innovation, and promoted the deep integration of "Internet plus education". In order to have more courses recognized as national and provincial first-class courses in 2022, the school invited domestic first-class curriculum construction experts to direct the courses. The Office of Academic Affairs set up workshops to carry out multiple rounds of polishing and improvement, effectively improving teachers’ ability of course construction.

Up to now, TU has obtained 128 provincial first-class undergraduate courses. During the Fourteenth Five Year Plan period, the school will effectively play a leading role in demonstrating high-quality first-class courses, and constantly improve the teaching level of undergraduate courses, so as to improve the training quality of application-oriented talents.
