Recently, the Finals of the 10th National Undergraduate Pharmaceutical Engineering Design Competition ended at Hubei University of Technology, and the pharmaceutical engineering student team of our university won one national first prize and one second prize respectively.

The National Undergraduate Pharmaceutical Engineering Design Competition is the highest professional level of pharmaceutical engineering competition in China, and is mainly aimed at undergraduate and graduate students of pharmaceutical engineering and related majors. In 2022, 540 teams from 139 universities participated in the 10th National Undergraduate Pharmaceutical Engineering Design Competition, and 12 first prizes, 58 second prizes and 72 third prizes were finally selected.

In this pharmaceutical engineering design competition, the team composed of Chen Weiyun (team leader), Xu Xia, Li Ruotong, Chen Yu'an, Wang Zheying, and Chen Xinyue (instructors: Shen Jianfen, Hong Zhi) stood out from the 540 teams nationwide and entered the national finals, and finally won the national first prize. The team consisting of Xiang Wei (team leader), Wang Yiwen, Huang Kai, Chen Zepeng, Cai Liu Xucheng and Xia Yihui (instructors: Li Zongyang, Xu Haidan) won the second prize.

This competition not only tested the independent learning and practical application ability of the students majoring in pharmaceutical engineering of our university, but also played a positive role in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship education, reforming practical teaching, and strengthening the relationship with other universities and enterprises. The achievements fully demonstrate that Taizhou University attaches importance to the cultivation of students' practical ability, and emphasizes the combination of theory and practice.
