TU ranks among the top 50 in the teacher teaching development index of newly-built undergraduate universities

On December 23, the 2022 edition of the National College Teachers' Teaching Development Index was officially released. This is the fourth consecutive year since 2019 that the Working Group on the Research of College Teachers' Teaching Development of the Chinese Association of Higher Education has released the index. Taizhou University ranks among the top 50 in the teacher teaching development index of newly-built undergraduate universities, ranking 43rd, up 9 places from last year. The number of programs and total scores have improved significantly.

The 2022 index still depicts the teaching development ecology of college teachers in China from the "6+1" dimension, but the specific content of the index has been optimized and adjusted. After adjustment, the first-level indicators of the undergraduate college index include six dimensions, i.e., teacher team, teaching reform project, teaching material project, teaching articles, teaching effectiveness, teaching organization, and one special dimension, teaching competition.

In recent years, the whole school, especially the teaching development center for teachers at the university and college levels, has made great efforts to comprehensively promote the reform and innovation of education and teaching, and comprehensively improve the quality of education, and make persistent contributions to the early realization of the development goal of Taizhou University.
