On the afternoon of December 25, Taizhou University held the 2023 (Spring) International Student Cloud Graduation Ceremony. Le Chuanyong, Vice Secretary of the CPC Committee and President of Taizhou University, delivered a speech. Jin Xianlong, Vice Secretary of the CPC Committee of Taizhou University, attended the ceremony. Li Junmin, member of the CPC Committee and Vice President of Taizhou University, presided over the graduation ceremony.
In his speech, Le Chuanyong expressed warm congratulations to all graduating international students and heartfelt thanks to the teachers and staff who have carefully trained international students. He said that international students experienced the severe test of the COVID-19, mastered knowledge in the classroom, expanded their horizons in practice, and gained growth in their efforts. Le Chuanyong put forward three hopes: first, he hoped that international students would become practitioners of building a community with a shared future for mankind; Second, he hoped that international students will become active communicators of China's excellent traditional culture. Third, he hoped that international students will become friendly ambassadors for TU's foreign exchange.
At the meeting, Jin Xianlong read out the decision of awarding students' bachelor's degree and the appointment of international students as alumni liaison ambassadors, and expressed the hope that all alumni liaison ambassadors would make positive contributions to the work of alumni and the construction and development of the school with a high sense of responsibility and selfless dedication.
Wang Anna, a Uzbek student majoring in tourism management, reviewed her four years’ study at TU on behalf of all graduating students. She said that she was very reluctant to leave Taizhou University, and sincerely wished her alma mater to prosper and become a first-class and internationally renowned high-level application-oriented university as soon as possible.
On behalf of all the teachers, Tang Ronglan of School of Business congratulated the students on their successful completion of their studies.
