In the evening of December 31th, the 2023 New Year Gala of China Central Television was broadcast in CCTV. During the recording of this Gala in Taizhou, 665 TU students participated in the rehearsal and recording of five shows as performers and interactive audiences.

Since the end of November, students from School of Business,School of Art and Design, School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and School of Medicine have actively participated in the rehearsal and recording. The students overcame all kinds of difficulties and insisted on rehearsing for 4 to 7 hours every day. The recording time was even longer than 10 hours. Finally, they successfully completed the recording of the evening party. Their spirit and hard work were highly recognized by the CCTV director team, and leaders of Taizhou City, Huangyan District and relevant departments.

The volunteer service team, set up by the Publicity Department and the CYL Committee of Taizhou University, conscientiously serves the performers to ensure the smooth progress of rehearsal and recording.

The main stage of CCTV New Year Gala was set in Taizhou again after the 2022 CCTV New Year Gala. The enthusiastic participation of the students infused the atmosphere of youth into this evening party, displayed the style of the university, and improved the reputation of the school.
