Recently, 10 government departments including Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission issued the list of industry-education integration institutes in Zhejiang Province from 2021 to 2022, and the Yangtze River Delta (Taizhou) Pharmaceutical Big Health Industry-Education Integration Alliance led by Taizhou University was successfully selected.

In reference to the application requirements, our university attached great importance to the application work, carefully organized the School of Medicine and Chemical Engineering, the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture and other departments to prepare the application materials which were positively evaluated at the expert review and defense meeting in September 2022. Finally, only 16 industry-education integration alliances in the province, including the Yangtze River Delta (Taizhou) Pharmaceutical Big Health Industry-Education Integration Alliance, were rated as the provincial industry-education integration alliance in 2021-2022.

The Yangtze River Delta (Taizhou) Pharmaceutical Big Health Industry-Education Integration Alliance is composed of 67 government departments, schools, hospitals, research institutions, industry associations and enterprises in Taizhou, and well-known universities and research institutions in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Anhui. , Initiated by Taizhou University, the Alliance is an industry-education integration alliance with cross-border cooperation, collaborative innovation and resource sharing. It is aimed at promoting the organic link between the education chain, talent chain, industrial chain and the innovation chain, thus helping the high-quality development of the pharmaceutical and health industry in the Yangtze River Delta region.
