Recently, the list of winners of the 4th "Recitation China" Classic Recitation Contest was released. TU's work "Qiu Jin" won the third prize, and "Ode to the Red Cliff" won the excellent prize.

This reading contest is sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the State Language Commission, and hosted by China Education Television and the Central Academy of Drama. After selection and recommendation by provincial language commissions and education departments, a total of 3754 works from 7 groups have been shortlisted for the national competitions, among which 330 works have been shortlisted for the finals.

Previously, our school performed brilliantly in the 10th Chinese Classics Recitation Competition for College Students in Zhejiang Province and won many awards. In the individual group finals, Zhou Fan, Chen Siyu and Xia Yushi won the first prize; Li Zhiyun won the second prize; Zheng Biyao, Fan Keyi, Wang Nuoyi and Hu Yixuan won the third prize. Five teachers, Jin Niya, Zhang Jie, Wang Xin, Cheng Xiangrong and Lin Xian, won the title of excellent instructor, and Taizhou University won the award of excellent organization.
