On March 22, the China Association of Higher Education released the 2022 National Ranking List of College Student Competitions. Taizhou University ranked 20th in the "Top 100 in the 2018-2022 National Newly Built College Student Competition Ranking List", and further advanced to 13th place on the basis of last year's promotion; 240th in the "Top 300 National College Students Competition (Undergraduate) List for 2018-2022" and 15th among the universities in Zhejiang Province.

The evaluation result list of the national university discipline competition is released annually, and a total of 1207 undergraduate universities nationwide have entered the 2022 undergraduate list.

In 2022, with the joint efforts of all teachers and students in the school, the Academic Affairs Office organized competition teams from various colleges to guide students to participate in more than 90 provincial-level and above discipline competitions. More than 10000 students participated in various competitions at all levels and won 1187 provincial-level and above awards. In particular, the national awards made a breakthrough in excellent performance in new competitions on the basis of consolidating existing advantages, and won 179 national awards, an increase of 38% compared to the previous year. The number of national first prize awards reached 28, an increase of 75% compared to the previous year. The achievements highlight the effectiveness of the school in implementing innovation and entrepreneurship education reform in recent years and strengthening the quality of innovation and entrepreneurship talent cultivation.
