Recently, the Zhejiang Provincial Office Affairs Management Bureau and the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education announced the second batch of green schools (higher education institutions). Taizhou University has been awarded the title of "Zhejiang Provincial Green School (Higher Education Institution)".

In recent years, TU has incorporated the creation of a green school into the overall ecological civilization construction system and annual key work tasks of the university. To achieve this goal, TU has formulated, deployed and promoted specific plans, and has set aside special funds to support them. As the main leading department, the Logistics Service Management Department has been closely focusing on the goal of creating a green school since 2021, establishing an energy-saving grid member management system, and vigorously implementing campus greening upgrading, energy-saving and carbon reduction practices, garbage classification, and green cafeteria creation work. This evaluation is a full recognition of the achievements of TU's green school construction, laying a solid foundation for the future creation of "zero carbon" public institutions and low-carbon campus.
