3 TU scholars selected into Elsevier 2022 "Annual List of Chinese Highly Cited Scholars"

On March 28th, Elsevier, a leading global information analysis company, officially released the 2022 "Annual List of Chinese Highly Cited Scholars". The list is based on the globally authoritative citation and index database Scopus as the statistical source of scientific research results. A total of 5216 Chinese scholars with the most global influence in various disciplines are included in the list. Professors Wang Lei, Wu Jie, and Yu Feihai from Taizhou University were selected, ranking 171st on the list and 12th in Zhejiang Province.

The 2022 Elsevier "Chinese Highly Cited Scholars" list covers 84 first level disciplines in 10 disciplines of the Ministry of Education. The basic data extraction of highly cited scholars this time used the further optimized and updated first level discipline classification mapping of the Ministry of Education of Elsevier (covering 111 disciplines). On this basis, the data of Chinese scholars' subject attribution, subject performance, and other aspects have better demonstrated the academic research ecology that is in line with China's discipline settings, scientifically and accurately depicting the scientific research output of Chinese scholars. This provides effective assistance for further sorting, analyzing, and researching the citation performance of scholars, and has important reference value.
