On March 31st, the International College of Taizhou University, in collaboration with the Xianju County Propaganda Department, organized the listing ceremony of the Taizhou University Research and Learning Base for International Students. 46 international students from 20 countries participated in this event.

Li Junmin, member of the CPC Committee and Vice President of Taizhou University, attended and delivered a speech. The attendees also include Zheng Haimin, member of the Standing Committee of the Xianju County CPC Committee and Head of Propaganda Department, Shi Anquan, Dean of the International College, Wang Aiqin, Vice Dean of the International College, Mao Zuchao, Deputy Mayor of Xianju County, Chen She, Secretary of the CYL Committee of Xianju County, and Zhu Haiyong, Chairman of the Shenxianju Tourism Group.

Li Junmin stated that , and the establishment of an international student research and learning base is another pioneering move in deepening cooperation between TU and Xianju after their signing of a comprehensive cooperation agreement in 2020. She emphasized that both sides hope to take this opportunity to further expand the "circle of friends" of local excellent traditional culture, expand the brand awareness of the city, and jointly tell the story of Taizhou.

At the ceremony, Mao Zuchao presented 10 international students with letters of appointment for the "Immortal Residence" promotion ambassador.

This event is another dynamic practice of the "Perception of China" series of activities for international students, aiming to further lead international students to explore Chinese stories, learn Chinese culture, and spread the voice of China. At the same time, the event promoted cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, making important contributions to promoting the beautiful natural scenery, historical and cultural heritage, and traditional culture of Xianju.
