Recently, the Department of Education and the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Zhejiang Province issued the announcement of awarding 240 teachers with a senior professional title, which is equivalent to professorship at a university. After recommendation and evaluation, a total of 218 primary and secondary school teachers and 22 secondary vocational school teachers in the province were conferred the senior professional title. 20 of them are from Taizhou and 9 are TU alumni.
In its history of more than one hundred years, Taizhou University started as a teachers college, then incorporated different schools at different times, including Taizhou Teachers’ Further Education School, Linhai Normal School, Taizhou Healthcare School and Wenling Normal School, and finally developed into a university with abundant academic resources, which has cultivated tens of thousands of high-quality application-oriented talents for Taizhou and Zhejiang Province, and even the whole country.
Alumni are the best endorsers of a university. We congratulate the alumni who have been awarded the titles and thank them for their contributions to the social and economic development of the country and the honor they have won for TU.
Chen Xuanfeng, the newly-conferred senior teacher, is an alumnus of the Year of 1994 of Linhai Normal School. Now he is the principal of Zheshang Elementary School in Linhai City, Zhejiang Province. He has won many honors, including Outstanding Instructor of Primary and Secondary School Teachers of Zhejiang Province, Teaching Achiever of Zhejiang Province, Merit Worker of Teacher Morality of Zhejiang Province, Merit Worker of Educational Research of Zhejiang Province, and First Prize of Classroom Teaching Competition of Zhejiang Province. He has presided over four provincial educational research projects, have five monographs published, and published more than 30 papers in the core journals on elementary school mathematics. In addition, he also won a prize in the Municipal High-quality Cultural Project.
Jiang Qingjun, the newly-conferred senior teacher, is an alumnus of the Year of 2003 majoring in mathematics and applied mathematics. He is also a special-grade teacher and winner of Spring Silkworms Award of Zhejiang Province. He is currently the party secretary and principal of Ruoheng Middle School in Wenling City, a representative of Taizhou Municipal People’s Congress, and a member of the Professional Steering Committee for Curriculum Reform of Basic Education of Zhejiang Province. In his teaching career, he has won many honors, including Young Talent of Teaching of Zhejiang Province, Merit Worker of Educational Research of Zhejiang Province, and Master Teacher of Taizhou City, etc. At the same time, he has founded his own Master Teacher Studio.
Zhuang Feng, the newly-conferred senior teacher, is an alumnus of the Year of 1998 of Linhai Normal School majoring in mathematics education. He is currently the deputy director of teaching department of Yuhuan Middle School. He has acquired many titles and honors in his teaching career, including the training expert of high school mathematics textbook (A version) published by People’s Education Press, Young Talent of Teaching of Zhejiang Province, Course Leader of Online Master Teacher Studio, Excellent Coach of Zhejiang provincial mathematics competitions, Course Leader of High School Mathematics of Taizhou City, Outstanding Worker in Education in Taizhou City, Taizhou Distinguished Teacher, and Merit Educator of Yuhuan City, etc. In addition, he also won the “Shuoyuan Award” and “Spring Silkworm Award” of Yuhuan City.
Tang Jieli, the newly-conferred senior teacher, is an alumnus of the Year of 1997 of Taizhou Teachers College majoring in English.In his teaching career, he has won many honors, including Taizhou Distinguished Teacher, Outstanding Teacher of Zhejiang Province, Model Teacher of Virtues in Primary and Secondary Schools of Zhejiang Province, Outstanding Teacher of Taizhou Yaoda Reward Fund, Teaching Achiever of Taizhou City, etc. Moreover, he is the editor of more than ten books, and a special contributor of multiple newspapers and journals, including 21st Century, Learn English, English Weekly and English Coaching Paper.
Jiang Yanping, the newly-conferred senior teacher, is an alumnus of the Year of 2000 of Linhai Normal School majoring in general education. As a special-grade senior teacher, she is currently the principal of Hengxi Town Central Primary School in Xianju County. In her teaching career, she has acquired many titles, including Young Talent of Teaching of Zhejiang Province, Merit Worker of Education Research of Zhejiang Province, Taizhou Distinguished Teacher, Taizhou High-level Special Talent, and course leader of Taizhou City, etc. In addition, she has also won many awards, such as “Spring Silkworm Award” of Zhejiang Province and the Gold Prize of Teaching Reform of Zhejiang Province. The six educational research achievements she presided over have won the first and second prizes of Zhejiang Province, and she has had more than 30 articles and papers published in domestic journals such as Shanghai Educational Research.
Lin Yan, the newly-conferred senior teacher, is an alumnus of the Year of 1990 of Wenling Normal School majoring in General Education as well as an alumnus of the Year of 2000 of Taizhou Teachers College majoring in Chinese Language. As a special-grade senior teacher, she is currently the principal of Huanshan Primary School in Yuhuan City, the third executive director of Zhejiang Provincial Primary and Secondary School Writing Committee, and a special researcher of 30-member Research Group of Primary School Chinese of Zhejiang Province. In her teaching career, she has won many titles and awards, including “Spring Silkworm Award” of Zhejiang Province, National Outstanding Teacher of Curriculum Reform, Young Talent of Teaching of Zhejiang Province, Merit Work of Education Research of Zhejiang Province, Taizhou Distinguished Teacher, etc.
Jin Xiaomin, the newly-conferred senior teacher, is an alumnus of the Year of 1991 of Linhai Normal School majoring in General Education. She is currently the principal and party secretary of Tianhe Road Primary School in Yuhuan City. In her teaching career, she has won 48 provincial and municipal honors, including the special-grade senior teacher of Zhejiang Province, Model Worker of Zhejiang Province, Excellent Communist Party Member of Zhejiang Province, Merit Worker of Education Research of Zhejiang Province, and Taizhou Distinguished Teacher, etc.
