From April 28 to 30, the 10th EAKF Karate Championships 2023 was held in Yuhuan,Taizhou. Our school sent 11 international students from seven countries, including Bangladesh, Pakistan, Russia and Uzbekistan, to participate in the volunteer service.

The international student volunteers went to Yuhuan on April 25. After preliminary training, they provided services as on-site interpretation, pre-competition recording, hotel reception at each designated place. They have been fully committed to volunteer services with full enthusiasm, and have successfully fulfilled their duties to provide the best services for participants.

"It was my first time to be a volunteer. I learned new knowledge and met many teachers and friends. They were enthusiastic and always provided guidance whenever we couldn’t understand. It was rather happy to be a volunteer." said Wang Meili (BAKHRIDDINOVA GUZAL) from Uzbekistan. Li Wei (NACOULMA TEGWENDE ANTHIME CONSTANTIN) from Burkina Faso said, "by joining in this event, I have learned more about karate and the work of karate judges. I have made friends with those from South Korea, Japan and other countries. I hope to be a volunteer again in the future." He Xu (AL-NOOR SAMIUL ISLAM) from Bangladesh said, "I had a wonderful time in Yuhuan. I learned about cultures of different countries and built up friendships with athletes. I am grateful for this opportunity to participate in international competitions."

During the volunteer service, the international students worked together with great dedication and was praised by both participants and organizers, demonstrating their positive work attitude and good spirits.
