On the evening of May 11, a unique campus concert was held at the Youth Square of Jiaojiang campus. The concert, themed “Enjoying Youth”, was co-sponsored by Taizhou University Youth League Committee and the School of Art and Design, and co-organized by Jiaojiang Branch of China Mobile.

On the shining stage, the “singers” from the University Student Art Troupe expressed their own voices with music and burst out with unlimited passion and vitality.

As the night fell, the brilliant lights flashed. With the melody sounded, an exciting singing performance began! Each singer, in the form of solo, duet, or group singing, sang their youth and dreams.

The singers at the concert performed 22 songs of different styles. The fluorescent sticks held high by the audience and the cheers heard over and over again undoubtedly reflected that this was a wonderful audio-visual feast. The concert was synchronized with live singing and webcasting, attracting thousands of students and teachers. The concert got nearly 60,000 hits on the Internet. The event provided students with an opportunity to showcase their style, which is conducive to guiding students to actively explore their individual strengths, enhance their artistic qualities, help promote the construction of campus culture, and show the positive and upward spirit of contemporary college students.

“We are keeping a tradition of holding a vocal report performance every semester.” Ding Jingling, the instructor of the university's student art troupe, said that through such activities, the main purpose is to provide an opportunity for these outstanding students to get a chance of exercising their skills, enriching stage experience, and enhancing professional skills.
