Zhejiang Provincial Recruitment Fair for Class of 2024 College Graduates (Taizhou Specialized Session) held in TU

On November 12, Zhejiang Provincial Recruitment Fair for Class of 2024 College Graduates (Taizhou Specialized Session) and Taizhou Municipal Campus Recruitment Fair for Class of 2024 College Graduates were successfully held at the track and field stadium on Jiaojiang campus. Jin Xianlong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of Taizhou University, and the heads of relevant university departments and secondary schools had in-depth exchanges with employers and graduates on-site. Relevant personnel from the Zhejiang Provincial Education Development Center were also present to provide guidance.

The recruitment fair attracted companies from Guangzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Wenzhou, Ningbo, Shaoxing, and other regions, including 536 high-quality employers such as Volvo, Huahai Pharmaceutical, Haizheng Biotechnology, Weixing Group, Supor Co., Ltd., Yinlun Machinery Co., Ltd., Guoqiang Construction Group, and Tailong Commercial Bank. The companies involved manufacturing, finance, education, healthcare, e-commerce, international trade, and other fields, offering 1,692 positions with a demand for 13,080 employees.

Various companies and institutions brought their promotional materials, product samples, and recruitment information to the event. They meticulously designed their booths to attract the attention of students. Students entered the job fair with great interest, some with clear goals to find their desired companies or positions, while others with an exploratory attitude to perceive the employment situation. The on-site atmosphere was lively, with students moving among various booths and carefully selecting their preferred companies based on their advantages. Various companies introduced their corporate culture, recruitment needs, benefits, etc. to students, with some companies directly entering the interview or screening stage. Many graduates stated that the job fair allowed them to have a deeper understanding of the job market and provided them with more opportunities to showcase themselves. Many junior students also attended the recruitment fair to proactively understand industrial demands, find internships, and experience the employment atmosphere.

The job fair provided three specialized areas, including face-to-face counseling with mentors, resume guidance by 51job, Inc., and consultations on employment and entrepreneurship policies. Six employment mentors from universities and companies listened to students’ concerns about career planning, internship opportunities, and industry prospects, sharing their experiences and helping them clarify their employment directions and alleviate job anxiety. Some enterprise mentors even took the initiative to provide internship and job opportunities. 51job, Inc. provided modification and beautification of students’ resumes in terms of format, content, and language expression, allowing them to better showcase their advantages, boost their job-hunting confidence, and increase employment opportunities. Taizhou employment service staff provided consultations and services for graduates regarding employment subsidies, social security benefits, living allowances, and entrepreneurship assistance. Students actively browsed electronic materials to determine if they met the requirements of the relevant policies.

According to statistics, more than 2,550 resumes were submitted during this recruitment fair, with over 639 people expressing their intention to accept job offers. The recruitment fair was organized by Zhejiang Provincial Education Development Center, Taizhou University, and Taizhou Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and hosted by the Employment Service Center of Taizhou University and Taizhou Municipal Employment Service Center.
