Crisis in Lin’an’s successful tour at Taizhou

On the evening of December 19, China’s first anti-terrorism time-travel drama “Crisis in Lin’an”, co-created by Zhejiang Provincial Anti-terrorism Leading Group Office and Qianjiang Spindrift Art Troupe of Zhejiang Performing Arts Group, was put on the stage at TU. Present at the event are Liu Ying (Deputy Director of Zhejiang Anti-terrorism Office and Second Level Police Commissioner), Jin Xianlong (Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of Taizhou University), Liang Xuhui (Member of the Political and Law Committee of the CPC Taizhou Municipal Committee and Second Level Adminstrative Consultant), Chi Tao (Executive Deputy Director of Taizhou Anti-terrorism Office and Deputy Director of Taizhou Public Security Bureau) and Dong Shihu (Deputy Leader of Jiaojiang Anti-terrorism Leading Group, Director of Jiaojiang Anti-terrorism Office, Deputy Director of Jiaojiang District, Party Secretary and Director of Jiaojiang Public Security Bureau). More than 1000 representatives from relevant units, citizens, teachers and students also participated in the event.

Jin Xianlong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of Taizhou University, delivered a welcoming speech. He said, the provincial tour of “Crisis in Lin’an” is a pioneering and vivid practice of implementing President Xi’s important instructions on the fight against violence and terrorism. The university will take it as an opportunity to focus on the theme of “National Anti-terrorism, Peace China”, and effectively integrate thoughts and actions into the anti-terrorism work led by the party committees and governments at all levels. Through active participation and close cooperation, the university will shoulder its responsibility, create a good atmosphere for anti-terrorism, and strengthen the “internal quality” of the campus anti-terrorism campaign.

At the event, Dong Shihu awarded our university the plaque of Jiaojiang Experimental Unit of “Linkage of Police and Security”, when Jin Xianlong accepted the plaque on behalf of our university.

Chi Tao announced the official start of the provincial tour at Taizhou Station. “Crisis in Lin’an” tells the story of a young and inexperienced modern police officer named Xiaoman, who travels back to the Southern Song Dynasty and works together with the “anti-terrorism elite forces” — the Imperial City Department to prevent the Jin people from attempting to carry out a terrorist assassination in Lin’an Prefecture. After that, Xiaoman realizes the significance of anti-terrorism work and decides to devote himself to the task of ensuring people’s well-being with a full sense of responsibility.

In the one-hour performance, while enjoying the adventurous story of solving criminal cases, the audiences were also unconsciously taking in the firm anti-terrorism ideas conveyed in the play. In the future, they will actively learn to master the methods of self-rescue, self-protection and harm reduction, enhance their awareness of danger, and strive to cultivate their “real abilities” in campus anti-terrorism and riot prevention.

On that day, as a warm-up event, “Peace Taizhou, Legal Market” was also bustling with life. 20 units have participated in the event, including the Special Patrol Detachment, Taizhou Traffic Police, Fire Rescue Detachment, Cybersecurity Brigade, Justice Bureau and Legal Education Office and so on. They have provided teachers and students with knowledge on anti-fraud, anti-drug, traffic safety, fire safety, anti-cult and others in the form of distribution of publicity materials, quizzes with prizes, and interactive games. Our university’s “Qingjiao 1139 Band” also gave live performances.
