International students participate in the Taizhou “Sound of Harmony” Grassland Concert

Taizhou “Sound of Harmony” Grassland Concert was held at MIX Space in Jiaojiang Harmony Park on March 23. Five students from the International School of Taizhou University were selected to participate in the event, whose performance was wonderful and well received by both the organizers and the audience.

The international students have prepared six programs for the concert. EL BACHRIA MOHAMED (Chinese name: Zhou Yang) from Morocco opened the show by playing Caravan on a drum set, whose drumsticks immediately lit up the atmosphere along with the rhythm of the music. Then, HOSSAIN MD MONOWER (Chinese name: Li Xiaolong) from Bangladesh performed two passionate Bengali songs Chumki choleche eka pothe and Amar shonar Bangla on an electric guitar. DZAPASI CHIVIMBISO PAULINE (Chinese name: Cha Qian) from Zimbabwe provided a visual feast for the audience by giving the English songs Halo and Stand up, whose rich performance experience and superb singing skills won rounds of applause. After taking turns playing instruments and singing songs, YARBAKHTI HANA (Chinese name: Lin Hanna) from Iran and EMEKA MARYANN CHINAZA (Chinese name: Zhan Shimin) from Nigeria gave the last performance. With youthful background music and graceful dancing, their hip-pop dance brought the atmosphere to the climax. Finally, performers from School of Art and Design, together with international students, sang the classic Chinese song Jasmine Flower, marking a successful end of the event, with their melodious singing through the park.

The 2024 Jiaojiang “Sound of Harmony” Grassland Concert is an event organized by Jiaojiang District Party Committee and Jiaojiang District People’s Government.
