The 2024 second-round postgraduate entrance examination of Taizhou University was completed. A total of 145 graduate students were admitted.
Taizhou University attached great importance to the work of postgraduate entrance examination. University leaders have taken the lead in guiding and personally checking the situation, implementing the collective decision-making of enrollment, strengthening the research and judgment of the enrollment situation, innovating the construction of the enrollment team, strengthening the supervision of the enrollment process, refining the preparation of the enrollment plan, and holding many meetings to study and deploy the second-round postgraduate entrance examination and admission work. Taizhou University has studied and formulated a work plan for the 2024 second-round postgraduate entrance examination and admission work in accordance with the requirements of the PRC Ministry of Education and the Provincial Higher Education Examinations Authority, clarifying the requirements for adjusting relevant majors, to ensure a smooth and orderly enrollment process.
Before the second-round examination, the university strengthened the publicity of enrollment information, timely releasing the second-round examination admission methods and implementation rules, and announcing the examination and adjustment arrangement through the National Research and Enrollment Network, the University Research and Enrollment Network, WeChat official account, “Research and Enrollment Network Information” official account and other channels. Admission personnel were arranged to answer consultation calls and reply to consultation emails twenty-four seven to provide high-quality services for candidates. The university’s graduate enrollment website has received over 220,000 visits. During the second-round examination period, the university strictly implemented the principles of “two identification”, “three randomness” and “four comparison”, refined the organization and implementation process of the second-round examination, optimized the operating procedures for remote online interviews, strengthened risk prediction, and conscientiously organized academic schools to carry out comprehensive training and one-on-one full process drills with candidates. At the same time, Vice President Han Deman visited the second-round examination site multiple times to provide guidance for the enrollment interview.
In 2024, a total of more than 190 staff members from 4 enrollment schools participated in the second-round post-graduate entrance examination and admission work. They organized and completed 25 online remote interview sessions, with more than 300 candidates participating. The proposed candidates for admission covered 77 universities nationwide, including 24 students from key provincial universities.
The University Publicity Department, the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Office, the Discipline Construction and Graduate Student Management Department, the Information Technology Center, and the enrollment academic schools have coordinated and cooperated closely to provide comprehensive service support and ensure the safety, stability, and orderliness of the second-round examination process.
