Zhejiang Provincial Academic Degrees Committee Office has recently issued a notification, announcing the list of newly approved bachelor’s degree programs in 2024, according to which, Pharmaceutics, Environmental Ecological Engineering, and Civil Engineering (International Cooperative Education) were newly added to Taizhou University’s program list.

Currently, Taizhou University offers 52 undergraduate programs, covering 10 disciplines, including Economics, Law, Education, Literature, History, Science, Engineering, Medicine, Management, and Art (excluding Philosophy and Agriculture).

The university attaches great importance to professional construction, optimizing the program structure and emphasizing the guidance of the “Four New” concepts. It implements a “red and yellow card” system for professional evaluation, introduces a dynamic adjustment, warning, and exit mechanism for professional programs, upgrades traditional programs, and constructs interdisciplinary “micro-programs”. Under the university’s “one body, two wings” strategic layout, nine new undergraduate programs have been established in the past five years, forming a cluster of programs that positively interact and symbiotically develop with industry clusters such as pharmaceutical and chemical engineering, materials and construction, intelligent manufacturing, electrical information, and life and environmental protection. Among them, 18 programs have been recognized as top-tier, key, advantageous, or distinctive programs at or above the provincial level, and 10 programs have been certified.
