TU Teacher Education Practice and Training Base (Phase I) Project awarded the “Kuocang Cup” Excellent Engineering Award

Recently, the list of “Kuocang Cup” Excellent Engineering Awards of the 2024 Annual Construction Project in Taizhou has been released. The TU Teacher Education Practice and Training Base (Phase I) project has made the list. The “Kuocang Cup” Award is the highest quality one for construction projects in Taizhou, which is evaluated by a panel of experts appointed by Taizhou Municipal Construction Bureau and Taizhou Municipal Construction Industry Association.

Located on the east side of the Linhai campus, the TU Teacher Education Practice and Training Base (Phase I) project is a part of exchanging assets of the Linhai Normal School campus. The construction was started in June 2021, and completed and put into use in June 2022. It covers a total construction area of about 16,218.53 square meters involving an investment of approximately 116.98 million yuan, primarily serving as the Teacher Education Practice and Training Base (Training Center and Kindergarten) on Linhai campus.

During the construction process, TU has all along pursued the principle of quality first and regarded creating high-quality fine works as the starting point and goal of its work. It has continuously strengthened the sense of responsibility and excellence of all participating units. The university unified thought and clarified goals, and coordinated with the centralized management unit of the project, the Municipal Social Development Work Management Company, to manage the project construction process well. It controlled the design argumentation, construction process, sub-item inspection and supervision, ensuring the quality of the construction.

This award not only affirms the quality of the construction, but also serves as an impetus to our university’s construction management for engineering projects. Currently, the third phase of the Jiaojiang Campus project is about to start. TU’s Infrastructure Department will, taking this as a starting point, continue to build high-quality engineering projects.
