Zhu Jian, Secretary of the CPC TU Committee, attended the 31st “Dream Catchers and Their Helpers” activity by the School of Teacher Education (Physical Education) on December 4 and talked with more than 20 students about their study, life and dreams.

Zhu Jian shares his ideas

Combining social development and his own experience, Zhu encouraged students to expand their horizons and pursue their dreams. He advised students to set up ambitious goals, stimulate their own motivation and development potential, and lay a solid foundation for their own development. He told them to let excellence become a habit and maintain good habits of exercise and learning. The concept of learning should be updated from being knowledge-based to ability-based. Importance should be placed in the outside-classroom learning to improve the overall quality of the students. He said that students could integrate their dreams into the development of the university and the development of the country to cultivate a solid foundation for their future.

At the event, students from three different majors focused on “university development and personal dreams” and talked about the development of the university changes, professional cognition, personal study, career planning, campus safety and living experience at TU. Zhu Jian listened carefully to the students’ problems and confusions, and gave responses and answers.
