The results of the selection of advanced units in network informatization construction in Zhejiang universities were officially announced on December 16. TU was awarded the designation of “Advanced Unit for Network Informatization Construction in Zhejiang Universities—Information Technology Application Innovation Direction.”. Zhao Rengang was awarded the title of “Model Worker for Network Informatization Construction in Zhejiang Universities.”

The award was jointly reviewed by the Education Informatization Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Computer Society and the CERNET Zhejiang Main Node. It included four categories of awards for advanced units and individuals. The aim of the award was to further promote the informatization of higher education in Zhejiang Province, encourage universities to actively engage in various network and informatization innovation projects, and build a high-level and high-quality talent pool for informatization. This can support the strategic development of network and informatization construction in Zhejiang universities.

As a next step, TU will take digitalization to empower the high-quality development of higher education as the goal and focus on the national education digitization strategy action. It means to safeguard the university’s network and data security.
